Applications are invited for the position of Administrative Services and IT Assistant within the Australian High Commission.

Duties of Position:
• Provide IT infrastructure services including desktop applications, local area networks, IT security and telecommunications;

• Maintain Australian High Commission’s intranet, website and other IT systems;

• Attend to helpdesk queries and handle customer requests;

• Assist with managing IT and Communication equipment including acquisition; maintenance, stock take, replacement, billing and disposal programs;

• Undertake office administration (e.g. billing, vendor and customer liaison, etc);

Selection Criteria:
• Degree/Diploma in IT qualification with minimum two years of experience in IT system administration.

• Thorough knowledge of network management practices and procedures.

• Thorough knowledge of the MS Office suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) and knowledge of lotus notes would be advantageous.

• High level fluency in spoken and written English.

• Able to self-manage and work with limited supervision, analyse information and exercise sound decisional judgement.

• Access programming skills are desirable.

Minimum salary per month is RM3050.00 plus two months contractual bonus and other benefits.
