Australia International Cultural Council Grants Program – Expressions of Interest
Australian residents are encouraged to apply for Round 7 of the Australia International Cultural Council (AICC) Grants Program. Expressions of Interest (EOIs) may now be submitted to the AICC. The closing date for submission of EOIs is 18 February 2013.
The AICC Grants Program provides funding for international arts and cultural projects that promote Australia overseas as a sophisticated, multicultural and creative nation, and that strengthen people-to-people linkages. Funding is typically capped at AUD40,000 per application, and is intended to encourage partnerships with other areas of government, corporate sponsors and private donors.
Applications may include:
• visual arts
• design (including architectural design)
• theatre
• dance
• music
• literature
• film
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander arts
• disability arts
• multicultural arts
• cultural heritage
• collaborative arts projects with artists from another country
• community cultural development/community arts
EOIs can be submitted online at (http://dfat.smartygrants.com.au/AICCRound7EOIs). EOIs are due 12noon (AEDST) 18 February 2013. Shortlisted EOIs will be invited to submit a complete grant application.
